Francine Picard

Colors, textures and above all, interior design fascinate Francine Picard, a Huron-Wendat artist who has studied fashion design in Sainte-Foy. It is with this same spirit of enthusiasm and passion that she pursues her work in spatula based painting techniques. Tourism Wendake has commissioned a fresco from her for the Huron-Wendat nation. For this project, she went to Lyon, France for advanced training with the mural artists of CitéCréation. Her artistic training in mural art was completed upon her return to Quebec, with the group MuraleCréation. In 2011, Francine Picard participated in a collective exhibition that brought artists from the 11 Nations of Quebec together at the Marché Bonsecours in Montreal titled the 11 Nations Exhibit.
